MINI Brake Fluid Flush

How Brake Fluid Ages?

Brake fluid fills your brakes’ hydraulic system, and it is great at providing compressible liquid for that system. However, when brake fluid gets old, it can decay, making it less optimal for hydraulic use. It also can get contaminated, either from outside sources or from corrosion inside the brake system. These particles and decayed fluids make it so that your brakes don’t have the same compressive force that lets you stop so fast, and that’s dangerous.

When is best to have a brake fluid flush?

The best time to get a brake fluid exchange is when your old brake fluid has become too old to function well enough for you. Our certified technicians here can check your brake fluid as often as you’d like us to, but, likely, you won’t have to change it more than every couple of years. The important thing to remember is to have it checked to know if you have a brake fluid exchange coming up. We’re always happy to check your brake fluid for you!

MINI Fuel Injector Flush

How does your Fuel Injector get dirty?

When an internal-combustion engine is powered down, the combustion chambers have carbon deposits that are left over. When your engine cools, the vaporized gasses from your fuel/exhaust settle on every surface in the combustion chamber, including the fuel injector nozzle. As a result, this residue can clog the injectors and reduce how much fuel can be delivered to your engine.

It is recommended to have your injectors cleaned periodically to keep them flowing at peak efficiency.

* Offer is not applicable to vehicles with turbocharged engines.

MINI Power Steering Flush

A power steering fluid exchange service is performed to enhance the performance of your steering. If your power steering is out of whack you literally won’t be able to steer your vehicle – Correction you would only be able to steer it if you could lift 3,000 pounds. The power steering fluid exchange service is divided into two parts. In the first part, we will flush out the old power steering fluid by introducing a new power steering fluid. You may think this is crazy simple, but we actually have to use a specialized power machine in order for this to work.
